Olivier Girardot steps down as CEO of Hydro Rein and recruitment of successor underway
Effective 1 December 2025, Olivier Girardot will step down as CEO of Hydro Rein to take on a new role as Head of Hydro Recycling.
"Olivier has been instrumental in building Hydro Rein from the ground up and positioning it as a strong renewable energy player with a solid footprint in the Nordics and in Brazil. We thank him for his dedication and leadership, and wish him every success as he takes on this important role in Hydro Recycling," said Arvid Moss, Chairman of the Board of Hydro Rein.
Astrid Martinsen, currently CFO of Hydro Rein, has been appointed Interim CEO, also effective 1 December. She will lead the company while the Board of Directors concludes the recruitment process for a permanent successor. In the interim period, Chief Transaction Officer Emil Brustad-Nilsen will take on the role as acting CFO.
The Board of Directors is currently in the process of recruiting a new CEO for Hydro Rein, a process expected to be concluded before the end of 2025.
