Hydro Rein delivers renewable energy and green solutions to industrial customers
Hydro Rein is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions to industrials, co-owned by the renewable energy and aluminium company Hydro and infrastructure investor Macquarie Asset Management. We have a diversified portfolio of more than 60 wind, solar and energy efficiency projects under development in core markets in the Nordics and Brazil.
Our strategy
Our strategy rests on the industrials' need to decarbonize, where tailored solutions are required to overcome the energy transition hurdles. Hydro Rein provides access to these low carbon solutions through certified renewable power, onsite generation, energy efficiency, energy storage and flexibility management.

Our people
Today, our workforce counts more than 100 employees, based in Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, and Brazil. We are organized in four business units: Norway, Sweden & Denmark, Brazil, and Energy Solutions. The business units are supported by four staff functions: Finance & Communication, Legal & People, Strategy & Transactions, and Project & Operations.
